Q: What type of adhesive does this machine use? How does it differ from standard cold glue?
A: The machine comes standard with a PUR reactive hot-melt adhesive system. Compared to standard cold glue, it offers superior solvent resistance and weather resistance; coated products will not delaminate within a temperature range of -40 to 140°C, making it more suitable for outdoor applications. Furthermore, the adhesive application volume is precisely controlled by a PLC, ensuring an even adhesive layer whilst also reducing adhesive costs.
Q: Can it process higher profiles? What if the standard lamination height is insufficient?
A: Yes, it can. The standard lamination height for this model is 125 mm, but it supports customised height extensions. It can be adjusted to suit your product dimensions, meeting the lamination requirements for larger profiles.
